Wednesday Nights
Sleepy Hollow High School

Presented by The Westchester Road Runners Club & The Westchester Track Club.

Class Format
The training sessions are interval type track workouts designed for runners of the longer distance events (3,000 meters to marathon). Runners will be divided according to ability. Each session will last approximately one hour, including warm-up and warm down.

Weather
The track is an all-weather surface. Workouts will be held on adjoining hills when there is light rain. Hard rains will be declared rainouts, and a makeup session will be scheduled for the following day.

Coaching
Sessions will be supervised by Mike Barnow, the coach of the Westchester Track Club for the past 25 years. Coach Barnow has coached nine Olympians and forty US National Qualifiers on the Westchester Track Club, and he has served as the head coach for the Somalian Olympic team for the 1984 Olympics. He has 48 years of coaching experience at the high school, college, open, and elite levels.

Location
Sleepy Hollow High School track, 210 North Broadway, Sleepy Hollow, NY 10591, upper NE parking lot, close to Route 448.

Facilities
There are no locker rooms or restrooms. Come dressed and ready to run!

Schedule and Time
Wednesday nights classes start at 6:20 p.m. in early spring, gradually pushing back to 7:00 p.m. as daylight increases.
