Trail Closings Sunday October 19

We received this notice from our friends at the Rockefeller State Park Preserve:

The Autumn Pace, a major Equestrian Fund-Raising Event will be held at the RSPP on Sunday, October 19, 2014 from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

During the above stated time, the vast majority of the RSPP Trails West of Sleepy Hollow Road will be closed to runners, walkers and Non-Pace Equestrians.

The trails closed will include Rockwood Hall, 13 Bridges, Pocantico River, Eagle Hill, Witches Spring, Gory Brook, Peggy’s Way and parts of the OCA.

If visiting the RSPP on Sunday, at the above designated time, please use other RSPP trails, especially those East of Sleepy Hollow Road.

Observing this suggestion will insure the safety of runners, walkers and equestrians and all other RSPP visitors.
